I've had this bluray player for a few weeks now, I'd have bought it sooner, but was waiting for the price to fall a bit. It works well along with my Panasonic HDTV and Panasonic receiver via Viera link. It displays a great picture using bluray discs, but the upconverted picture (while viewing regular DVD discs) isn't all it's cracked up to be. I wish the player had more than one HDMI input/output as well. The delay in loading a bluray disc isn't that bad. Heck, why not grab another soda or beer from the fridge while you wait for it to load? I love the fact that it has a USB input and an SD input on the front of the player. This makes it easy to pop in a usb flash drive with mp3 files and an SD card with digital photos on it. I highly recommend purchase of this Panasonic bluray disc player.

This product is great, Firmware update was easy as a button but with some concern of bricking (just soft paranoia this isn't the case) it played very well the panda thingy movie and yes man plus one of my homemade dvd footage, The only not problem but annoyance is that I don't have a panasonic tv so some of the on/off buttons doesn't work on my sharp hdtv, another thing on the remote that there isn't a easy access for viewing subtitles like in some of the dvd's remotes, the other that this make me angry very angry, almost as an insult to the reason of purchase is that they included.....(drums) AV cables!!!!!! not composite not HDMI AV cables, yes!! yellow,red,white.... I mean what's up with that I'm purchasing HD stuff and they send me 90's AV cables, it made me sorta angry but wasn't a biggie but... I only have one HDMI for my xbox 360 so when i wanted to watch something... plug/unplug.. I bought a $2.42 cable and just that.... It would be cool if panasonic updated the player with keyboard support, it will make a heck lot of easier youtubing...

Love the Panasonic DMP BD60 Blu Rey the picture is excellent.. the only draw back is that it takes too long to shut off..also I own a panasonic DVD player and they both have the same signal.. so I had to remove the DVD. Over all very clean and nice to work in Tandem.

Thus far this player has been GREAT! However the main reason that I purchased it was to have access to Amazon's video on demand that was advertised as being a part of this player and to date, it has not happened. Other than this one downfall, I find the player to be Excellent!
